The Heritage Varsity Tennis Team sent their state qualifiers to Waco on April 15th and 16th for the TAPPS 1A Texas state tournament.

VARSITY GIRLS STATE CHAMPIONS !!!!

A HUGE day for our girls team, winning the state championship! Faith Fevig and Meg Roeder placed first in the girls doubles. They won in the finals in a clench moment closing out a third set tie break 10-7. The team win would not have been possible without Laney Stollenwerck battling it out to take home third place in girls singles! Laney closed out her quarter finals match in a third set tie break, advancing her to the semis. It was incredible to watch the grit and determination from this mighty team of three. A big congratulations to these ladies!!

On the boys side, Garrett Gentry and Chip Zgabay took home third place in boys doubles. It was a tight match in the semi finals, barely losing in a close third set tie break. The opposing team went on to win state. So proud of our boys and the incredible tennis they played!
